Students’ scientific-research construction union “Transport manager”
The union was founded in 2011. The union brings together undergraduates, postgraduates, graduates and teachers to carry out joint activities in transport planning, design, and modeling. The main mission of the society is improving of the transport system of Irkutsk and concept popularization of sustainable urban development. The union cooperates with administrations, as well as large transport, architectural and construction companies in Russia and abroad.

- Creation of projects for the road traffic organizations in the city;
- Research of public and private transports, parking spaces and cycling connections;
- The route networks optimization of cities;
- Micro and macro modeling of transport process;
- Development of electrified and non-motorized transport types;
- Transport modeling training (PTV Visum, Vissim, Aimsun);
- Attracting students to project activities.
