The summer school is timed to coincide with the birthday of the great Russian poet Aleksandr S. Pushkin. This program will enable participants to significantly improve their language skills as well as deeply experience the spirit of Russia, its cultural and historical heritage.
Participants will enhance their proficiency in the Russian language by mastering key aspects of communication: confidently introducing themselves and making acquaintances using modern greeting phrases, discussing schedules and planning meetings, understanding instructions effortlessly, and actively participating in discussions both in the classroom and in everyday life.
Special attention will be given to studying grammar, the correct use of personal and possessive pronouns, as well as distinguishing between verb conjugations. Participants will refine their pronunciation of challenging sounds and learn proper word stress;
As a participant you will have an opportunity to embark on fascinating tours around the city of Irkutsk, discovering its history and modern life. You will immerse yourself in the world of Russian culture by exploring customs and national holidays and discover traditional Russian cuisine.

Course aim

Target group
The program is designed for high school (graduating class) and university students who have started studying Russian at a basic level and wish to improve their communication skills in a Russian-language environment.
