The internship program is designed for international students majoring in Russian studies who are engaged in current issues of Russian studies, including three directions:
1.    Linguistics
2.    Literature
3.    Russian as a Foreign Language
The program offers participants the opportunity to:
•    Attend open practical classes taught by university professors;
•    Participate in masterclasses led by leading experts in teaching Russian as a foreign language (RFL);
•    Explore best practices in teaching Russian as a foreign language;
•    Study the latest methodological developments;
•    Immerse themselves in an academic environment;
•    Enjoy a cultural and educational program: stroll around Irkutsk and explore its landmarks, visit Lake Baikal.
The outcome will be an individual project based on the courses taken.
Tuition and accommodation at INRTU are free of charge.
Participants are responsible for covering the following expenses:
•    Round-trip airfare to Irkutsk;
•    Meals (approximately $8/day);
•    Cultural program (optional excursions to Irkutsk sightseeings and Lake Baikal).
Duration: 1 semester
Autumn (from September to January)
Spring (from February to June)

Students majoring in Russian studies with initial proficiency level of Russian: A1-B1.
The application deadline:
-    June 15 for application for autumn semester;
-    November 15 for application for spring semester.
