Metrology, standardization and certification in mining
This course provides fundamental knowledge of measurement science (metrology), development of uniform technical specifications (standardization), and conformity assessment procedures (certification). Students learn to apply international and national standards (e.g., ISO, GOST), analyze measurement accuracy and traceability, and navigate product/quality management system certification frameworks. Emphasis is placed on implementing these disciplines to ensure product quality, safety, interoperability, and regulatory compliance in technical and industrial contexts.
The goal of mastering the discipline
Formation of competence in the field of reliability, reliability, and quality of measurements; acquisition of skills in the reasonable choice of measuring instruments and processing experimental data; familiarization with regulatory and technical documentation on metrology and standardization; acquisition of knowledge in certification of services and product quality.
