Irkutsk National Research Technical University (INRTU) is delighted to announce the 1st International Creative Summer School! During this program, students will have 3 weeks of creative workshops and a summer vacation full of impressions!

Since 2010, INRTU has been at the forefront of global education with its annual summer school program. Evolving each year, the program now offers a dynamic three-week short-term, intensive experience, combining classroom master-classes, cultural trips and other engaging activities.

The program is designed in collaboration with the Department of Monumental and Decorative art and Design named after V.G. Smagin related to INRTU School of Architecture, Construction and Design.

Our dedicated staff will be available around the clock throughout the program to ensure your well-being.

We are sure that this immersive three-week course will provide participants with a memorable and valuable experience, allowing  to deeply appreciate the diverse offerings that Russia and Irkutsk Region has in store. We eagerly look forward to the opportunity of welcoming students to our summer program.

Program dates: July 15 - August 2, 2024

Course aim

  • Block of lectures and workshops, covered methods of working with mosaics, hot enamel, painting, photography, ceramics and design;
  • Extracurricular activities, including guided tours, visiting Irkutsk sights and the Pearl of Siberia – Lake Baikal on Olkhon Island;
  • Lectures and practical classes of the Russian language.

To participate, please fill in the Application form (in the booklet attached above) and send the list of documents to INRTU international office by email nberngard@ex.istu.edu:
- international passport;
- medical certificate with fluorography results.
