The Economics of Globalization and International Trade
Globalization is one of the most significant phenomena in human history. It determines not only the economy and socio-political structure of different countries, but also the development of relations between them. The rapprochement of cultures, the formation of a single world economic system and single information, educational and scientific space lead to the fact that goods, services, information and new ideas, capital and other resources freely circulate with their holders around the world. An understanding of the functioning of the world economy, as well as knowledge of the basic principles of the development of supranational structures and international organizations, allow students to acquire a set of skills and abilities to create and select business models, considering the identified social and economic conditions, business problems and business opportunities.
The goal of mastering the discipline
To provide students with a set of skills and abilities for the creating and selection of business models, considering the identified social and economic conditions, business problems and business opportunities. The set of skills and abilities being formed is based on an understanding of the functioning of the global economy, as well as on the knowledge of the basic principles of supranational structures and international organizations development.
