University business-incubator comprises 20 laboratories with cutting edge equipment used to carry out scientific research. Irkutsk National Research Technical University. When I found out I got admission here, I was on cloud nine. This university has been nothing less than what I had hoped for Supportive seniors and faculty, beautiful campus, quality education, real world experiences, and amazing friends. Everything one needs from a University for life.
My experience in the program is positive. I gain both practical experience and insight into the theories underpinning Information Technology and Big Data. My professors are warm and highly knowledgeable. The program is highly effective at introducing me to the information technology industry and building the skills I need to succeed. I would recommended the program to potential students. Excellent teaching staff. Excellent course structure. Overall the quality of the faculty and resources combined with the curriculum made this a fantastic learning experience.
The growth I have seen in myself due to INRTU is invaluable. It has taught me things far beyond bookish knowledge and helped me broaden my horizons. Not only do they conduct various technical quizzes and events, but also many nontechnical events as well. There is a large variety of students on campus, providing everyone opportunity to interact and learn from each other.
Students are encouraged to take initiatives and hone leadership skills, so that they can cope with the world outside the campus. With the up to date laboratory facilities, and various software, large libraries on campus as well as online, students can easily access study materials to ensure quality output. There are numerous canteen facilities and the sports grounds keep the students physically active as well. The classes are very interactive and faculties ensure that every student understands what is being taught before proceeding. Courses are challenging, yet very informative, so that we don't feel lost when entering the competitive market. All in all Irkutsk National Research Technical University provides every student exactly what they need for life. Proud to be a student here!
Now I’m in a country where I’m anchored to seek knowledge. There are not many Russian names I want to tell here.
When I just arrived here, I really didn't know anything, the language was different, the writing was very different, but with time I began to speak Russian little by little.
Before I thought here the people are a little unfriendly because in my country people are very friendly when they greet people even thogh they don't know each other.
But after a while I found many friends from Russia. They were very nice and it was cool to talk to them. It is very fun and enjoyable to be able to study at INRTU. Thank again to INRTU for providing such an interesting experience for me.
Translated from Mongolian: I’m from Mongolia and I love studying at Irkutsk National Research Technical University because it’s much opportunity to increase my knowledge.
I have really enjoyed the broad range of modules within my course, enabling me to gain an insight into the different areas of information technology and experience its diverse and applicable nature.
I have great classmates from different countries and enjoy our time together. The instructors take the time to explain course subjects and are very supportive to students who require extra help. I’m really thankful to everyone from INRTU.
I went to INRTU last year. It was much better and more emotional, than I expected. I thought that there would be only study, but students have a lot of hobbies and entertainments.
I found many good friends and acquaintances in the university. The people here are wonderful. I am in the association of INRTU volunteers now. Thanks to my beloved university that I can continue my favorite activities.
Student time is the funniest and university students know this. Young people are preparing a lot of concerts and performances. This is good, because all the wonderful stories and emotions will be remembered.
INRTU, I love you. I still have 3 years of exciting study ahead of me! I'm happy!
Irkutsk is cold, and we have to adapt with the weather. Because in Indonesia we don't have winter, that's why winter is interesting new thing for us, people from equatorial area.
Irkutsk is good place for students, because Irkutsk is really cheap and every place has history in it. We also can get wonderful city and nature at the same time.
I spend my spare time to explore this city, it has a lot places to explore. My favorite place is “Ynost” island in Angara river. It's a beautiful place to go rather in winter or summer.
I think it's better to study Russian language in Russia, because we get pressure to learn more of Russian language, also we could practice anywhere and anytime. I went to some event and excursions in Irkutsk, held by INRTU. It was great time to know more about Russia, Irkutsk, and Russian language.
After my preparation courses I will take English program in International Business. I take English program because it's easier for me and they have program in English language in my major. Also, they have great lectures.
I spend my spare time mostly in dormitory but sometimes I love to walk beside Angara River. There is very beautiful view.
My Russian language classes runs well for now, the way of teaching is excellent, my teachers are very good and they are able to speak English pretty well.
I am going to enroll English-taught International Business program after finishing preparatory course. I think Irkutsk is a good place for students, so I will also take my Master’s degree here.
I like to go downtown and see buildings that look retro and classic, go to the market in the city center, or sometimes I just take a walk in the park on campus.
Michael is our Russian teacher, he teaches us not only Russian language but also some cultural things of Irkutsk, he is a cool teacher in my opinion. In my class, I have friends from other countries, such as Afghanistan, Syria, Ethiopia, Egypt, and Mongolia, we are all good friends. Russian is one of the most difficult languages, for now I am not fluent in speaking Russian or listening to native speakers but I already know some words when we want to order something or other simple everyday words.
I will enroll Russian-taught program, because the major I will take will use Russian as the language of instruction.
My future plan is to achieve my goals, which is to be able to speak fluent Russian and almost become a native speaker, and to continue my studies and use my free time to travel around Russia.
