The results of the contest «TOP 100 best graduates» were summed up in INRTU. Irkutsk Technical University summed up the results of the competition «TOP 100 best graduates». The most active and talented INRTU students received personal letters of recommendation from INRTU Rector Mikhail Kornyakov.

All students and undergraduates of the final courses participated in the competition. They sent documents to the jury confirming their achievements in Science, Education, Culture, Sports and Social work. Achievements were evaluated in five areas. They also had to publish a post in the social network, continuing a sentence «INRTU for me is…».
The list of finalists with photos is in a public domain in a special section of the university’s website.

The rating project was supervised by the Vice-Rector for Campus and Organizational Development Sergey Anosov. In his opinion, a personal letter from the rector is an excellent addition to the resume. Such a «quality mark» can be highly appreciated when applying for employment at a large enterprise:

«I am grateful to the INRTU students for their contribution to various fields of university activity. I wish them success in their careers and lives. A hundred of the best graduates are people who should be looked up to by young people, especially applicants.

I urge the first-year-students to take an active life position. Participation in conferences, competitions and public events forms leadership qualities, helps to achieve great heights.»

The rating is headed by Katerina Kachimskaya, who graduated from the University in major «Chemical Technology». Under the guidance of Professor Oleg Doshlov, she was engaged in research at the student innovation bureau «Technologist». She paid her attention to the preparation of articles on chemical technology, two of them were included in the list of the Higher Attestation Commission. In parallel with her scientific work, Katerina supervised the professional bureau of the Institute of High Technologies. The participation in the dance ensemble «Academician» has an important role in her life. Katerina visited festivals in the Crimea and Barnaul, received a special prize of the «All-Russian Student Spring Festival» in Samara.

«Irkutsk Polytechnic University taught me how to allocate time and set priorities correctly. I will adhere to these qualities in life," the leader of the Students’ Rating stressed.

Evgeny Pervushin, a certified IT specialist, proved himself in creativity and social work. The young man is known to Irkutsk viewers as an actor of the national theater «Predmesti’e». In addition, he works in Youth Policy Department, is responsible for organizing lectures and forums recreation area «Tochka Kipeniya», and broadcasts matches of the Polytechnic hockey team.

Evgeny admits that participation in university projects helped him to improve his communication and organizational skills.

Sofia Shashkina, a graduate of the Department of Chemistry and Biotechnology named after v. V. Tuturina, also entered the TOP 100. She acted as a WorldSkills expert and mentor of schoolchildren in the educational program «Sirius. Summer». Sofia is a scholarship holder of the Irkutsk Mayor and the governor of the Angara region, a prize-winner of the competitions «Best SNO» and «Young Inventor» of the NAUKA 0+ Festival. She intends to continue her research in postgraduate studies at INRTU.
In addition, Sofia Shashkina is engaged in the Tap Dance step studio. The Baikal Ice Music Festival-2021 became a landmark event for her. As a part of her studio, she, along with the drummers of «Ethnobit», played on hummocks and tap-danced on the ice of Lake Baikal. Last spring she participated in the TapMarathon professional stepists' rally in Moscow.
