The first bachelors graduation from the Baikal School of BRICS

The Baikal School of BRICS of Irkutsk Polytechnic University has graduated its first English-taught programs bachelors. Thirty-one alumni received their diplomas.

At the grand ceremony, Stepan Bykov, vice-rector for International Affairs Department, emphasized that students have achieved good results during the years of study:

"The teachers have been watching you grow up and now are very excited about your successes. My greatest wish is to be proud of your achievements in the future. Always remember: He who does not believe in magic will never find it in his life. Don't stop believing in miracles! Believe in yourself!"

Elizaveta Lonitskaya, who studied management within her International Business major at BS BRICS:

"I've always wanted to see what's going on in the world, to travel. The direction I have chosen in BS BRICS allowed me to do this. I studied one semester each in Poland, Belarus, and participated online in an international program in Korea. I met people from different parts of the world and gained serious experience which I am ready to share.

Now I'm going to work in one of the educational centers in Irkutsk. I'm also ready to start a master's program. My future plans are to represent the interests of our country in the international arena. But I still have a lot of things to learn before it.

I am satisfied with the level of education at the BS of BRICS. There is an individual approach to each student and a feeling of a big family. It was especially important for the Chinese students. I was the only one from Russia in my group, the rest were from China".

The graduate Mu Shuo considers her years at INRTU to be very productive and interesting:

"I was lucky to have kind and cheerful groupmates. I tried to study well and helped Chinese students adapt to INRTU, because I had previously studied Russian.

I plan to continue my studies in Moscow, but I will always keep good memories of the teachers at BI BRICS. It is important that students here are offered English-language programs. I'm very glad that I studied in Irkutsk, a beautiful Siberian city, visited Lake Baikal".
