National forum "PRAVO & PRODVIZHENIYE" held in INRTU as part of a grant from the Irkutsk City Hall

National scientific and practical forum "PRAVO & PRODVIZHENIYE" was held on April 12-13 in INRTU with the support of the Irkutsk city administration, the Irkutsk Social deputy association in the City Duma of the 7th convocation, as well as the regional public movement "Active Youth/The area of the young". More than 70 students from Irkutsk, Samara, Volgograd, Moscow, St. Petersburg and Vladivostok showed interest in the forum.

The forum was possible thanks to the active life position of IRNTU graduate student Tatiana Alekseeva, last year winner of a grant at the City Youth Forum. She runs the Irkutsk regional public movement "Active Youth/ Region of the Young".

One of the project coordinators is a graduate student, future economist, deputy of the Youth Parliament of the Irkutsk Duma Dmitry Snetkov. In his opinion, the forum was held at a high level due to the interest of young people in self-development. The event was timed to celebrate the 30th anniversary of the implementation of youth policy in Irkutsk region.

"Thanks to the competent organization and a good team, our forum was held at a high level. We express our gratitude to our volunteers, whose responsiveness and attentiveness helped to create an atmosphere of comfort and mutual respect. The event was actively attended by representatives of the deputy corps of the Irkutsk City Duma of the 7th convocation - Klevtsova Olga Vladimirovna (deputy for the 29th electoral district) and Belykh Rostislav Viktorovich (33rd district). A direct dialogue was built between the youth and the authorities. We discussed a number of topical topics, decided on several practical cases that can be implemented in the future on the territory of our city. I am very grateful to the deputies for supporting youth initiatives," Dmitry Snetkov stressed.

Valentina Turkova, Deputy Director for Educational Work at the School of Economics, Management and Law of Irkutsk Polytechnic University, noted that it is necessary to pay special attention to the development of talented youth and such events are a great way to develop yourself and the world around you.

"In general, our forum was successful and productive. The participants were satisfied. We are glad that we were able to create such a positive atmosphere and help students from different cities of Russia expand their knowledge and connections. We hope for further cooperation," said Valentina Turkova.

The importance of the event is also emphasized by the forum participants. Cadet of the East Siberian Institute of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia Ivan Serebrenikov noted that the event was organized at a decent level, given the presence of a remote format:

"The great value of the forum is that it was organized by students who won a grant. It was interesting for me to communicate with guys from other universities and deputies of the City Duma, I made new acquaintances and was inspired to active personal development. Thank you for the educational program."

According to the results of the forum, the most active and initiative participants received awards within the framework of the grant project "PROMOTION of the city of Irkutsk".
