INRTU journalism students successfully performed at the international forum "PR-Hunt!" in Gorno-Altaisk

The forum program included a competition in which students were asked to solve cases to promote online education courses in law, linguistics, IT, etc. The participants worked in teams under the mentoring of experts including Oksana Silantyeva, Silamedia's multimedia producer, Ekaterina Zharova from Skyeng, and Elena Darchuk from the GetCourse internet company.

In addition, Anna Kolmiller and Maria Martynenko from Rassvet.digital shared their valuable experience with the students, as well as Danila Snitko from the Two words branding agency.

The best project in the competition was the development for the DPO course "Digital technologies in creative industries". The authors of the initiative are third year student of Irkutsk Polytechnic University Alyona Yakovleva, Sergey Tyutenkov, Ekaterina Krotova, Irina Vasilyeva and Elizaveta Bukova.

A student of INRTU, Alyona Yakovleva, received an invitation to an online internship at Moscow PR agency Rassvet.digital

The future journalist Daniil Shershen developed the case "Digital promotion of educational products". According to the polytechnic student, the intellectual tournament presupposed basic PR skills.

"We had a clear division of responsibilities in the team. I proposed unconventional and forward-looking solutions and presented our project to the experts. I easily coped with this task.

At the forum I managed to improve my competences in the field of digital promotion of educational products, to see fascinating nature of the Altai region, to meet interesting people", - shares his impressions Daniil.

The students of Irkutsk Polytechnic University were accompanied on the trip by Elena Drugova, assistant professor of the Department of Advertising and Journalism. For her responsiveness and positive attitude, the university employee received a special prize - "I am the most PR-hungry LAMA".

Elena Drugova also received training from multimedia trainer Oksana Silantieva. During the trainings, the participants analysed aspects of creating and promoting online courses, from setting pedagogical objectives to the rules for transforming educational content.

"We express our gratitude to the management of Irkutsk Polytechnic University for the opportunity to take part in such a large-scale project. Our guys have managed the difficult tasks with dignity - the Polytechnic students were noted as communicative, active students with a high level of intelligence," says Elena Drugova.

All participants of the forum "PR-Hunt!" received certificates, which can be exchanged for a certificate of advanced training courses after graduation.

In addition to the educational programme, the project involved excursions to the Altai Mountains. Before leaving, PR-hunters visited the famous Altai Kholmogorye valley.
