INRTU is awarded as The 389th World’s Most Sustainable University in 2020 UI GreenMetric World University Rankings http://greenmetric.ui.ac.id/overall-rankings-2020/ INRTU ranked 13th out of 52 Russian universities, according to the 2020 GreenMetric international ranking.

The UI Green Metrics ranking was created in 2010. The purpose of this ranking is to assess the current state and policies related to the green campus and the sustainability of universities. Universities should implement environmentally friendly and sustainable policies and programs. The ranking takes into account six indicators: environment and infrastructure, energy and climate change, waste, water, transport, education and research.
