12 students and 2 graduate students of INRTU became scholarship holders of the Irkutsk region governor
Governor scholarship will receive 12 students and 2 graduate students of INRTU
According to the educational department of the university, a total of 30 students and 7 graduate students of INRTU applied for the scholarship.
Alexander Chugunov, a 3-year graduate student of the School of High Technologies in the field of chemical sciences, became a Governor scholarship recipient. He graduated with bachelor's and master's degrees and was included in the «Top 100 best graduates of INRTU». Previously Alexander has repeatedly received President scholarship and scholarships of the government of the Russian Federation, the governor of the Irkutsk region, the mayor of Irkutsk, «BP» company, as well as the Vernadsky Foundation.
A scholarship of the head of the region will be awarded to a second-year graduate student of the School of Power Engineering Anastasia Petrova. Anastasia Petrova graduated with honors in 2019 from two universities - INRTU and BGU, having received engineering and legal education. During her studies she published more than 20 scientific works, was awarded scholarships of the President and the Government of the Russian Federation, the Governor of the Irkutsk region and the Mayor of Irkutsk. She has experience of participating in case studies and research projects, organization of events for students and schoolchildren, she worked as an understudy for the minister of ecology and natural resources of the Irkutsk region.
Nikita Svinkin from the School of High Technologies stood out in the competition for the governor's scholarship, scoring 70 points. At the INRTU, he is mastering nanotechnology and microsystems engineering, he is also engaged in scientific activities in the laboratory of physical properties of micro- and nanostructures. Nikita is the winner of the first All-Russian project «Your Move» (initiative of the presidential platform «Russia - the country of opportunities»). Having excelled in the project, INRTU student received a prize of 1 million rubles.
This year Nikita became a scholarship holder of the President of the Russian Federation. He plans to enter INRTU master's program and work as a researcher.
Danila Suturin, a future chemist-technologist, is on the list of INRTU scholarship holders. His project to create a new generation of road surfaces became one of the winners of the IV research competition «Vanguard of Science». Danila is engaged in the student scientific society «Technologist», successfully demonstrating his achievements at conferences. Previously, he received a scholarship from the «Alpha Chance» program.
The recipe for the syrup with antiviral properties was created by Sofia Verkhoturova, a student of the School of High Technologies, a governor's scholarship holder. She won a grant to implement her project as part of the university competition «Vanguard of Science». Now the student is supervised by assistant professor of chemistry and food technology at the Department of Chemistry and Food Technology named after V. V. Tuturina.
