“There is a technical college in Khubsugul aimag, wh ere children master 18 specialties. We also believe that school principals should get to know INRTU better in order to encourage children to get a quality education in Russia,” commented Dondoo Chuluunbaatar.

“INRTU has a long history of cooperation with Khubsugul aimag. School graduates study in our main educational programs. For the third year in a row Mongolian students participate in the International Tournament “Cup of Two Lakes” initiated by INRTU. This year this great sporting event took place on the ice of Lake Baikal, and in 2026 it will be held on Khubsugul.

Every year we organize career guidance trips to different aimags of Mongolia.

During such trips we organize competitions on various subjects for high school students and master classes for Russian language teachers. The visit usually ends with a colorful concert of student creative teams of INRTU. Our field events are supported by the Russian House and the Mongolia-Russia Friendship Society, headed by the Hero of the Mongolia and the USSR pilot-cosmonaut J. Gurragcha”, informed Anna Melenteva.

At the meeting teachers watched a movie about Mongolian students at INRTU and learned that the Baikal School of BRICS provides education in English. Much attention during the meeting was paid to summer schools for Mongolian teachers of Russian language and mathematics, which are held annually on a free basis at INRTU.

The Mongolian side expressed interest in expanding cooperation and invited INRTU employees to participate in career guidance activities for students of Khubsugul aimag.
