More Than Five Thousand Students and Schoolchildren Attended the En+ Days at INRTU
On October 29-30, the En+ Days took place at INRTU. The event attracted more than five thousand students and schoolchildren of the Angara Region, who immersed themselves in the activities of the Russian energy holding through meetings with top managers, master classes and various interactives.
The grand opening was organized on October 29 in the concert hall of INRTU. The moderator was Olga Sanarova, Director of the Department of External Communications of En+ Group. She stated that the assets of En+ include five hydroelectric power stations, 16 thermal power stations, a solar power plant and a coal business. In the future, it is planned to build a wind farm in the Amur Region.
"We express our gratitude to INRTU for the opportunity to organize the En+ Days. The event is aimed at helping today's schoolchildren and students decide on their future career.
Over 30,000 employees work in the energy segment of the company. We are interested in expanding our team with young and energetic staff in various areas of training. There are about three thousand professions represented in En+, so everyone has a chance to apply their talents in the company,” says Olga Sanarova.
Rector of INRTU Mikhail Korniakov highlighted the student period as the best time to choose an employer:
“Most of our senior students already know where they will go to work after graduation. Presentations and company days, which are regularly organized at the university, contribute to this.

The students learned how to grow fr om an intern to a pro fr om Igor Galanin, Director of Organizational Development and Human Resources Management of En+ Group. He also spoke about the company's scholarship and other programs aimed at supporting young people. The interactive session “Building the Future Together” was conducted by Irina Bakhtina, Director of Sustainable Development of En+ Group.
For two days the hall of INRTU became an interactive platform wh ere participants explore hydro, heat and electric power engineering, learn about the peculiarities of coal mining, environmental and volunteer projects of En+, communicate with AI. Also in the hall everyone can determine their competence level, get career counseling, sign up for an internship or an excursion to En+ industrial facilities.
En+ Days attracted a third-year student of Irkutsk Energy College Sergey Gron, who is planning to work at Novo-Irkutsk thermal power station:
”The most remarkable thing for me was the sites in the lobby. I underwent chronocardiometry, wh ere special sensors determine my well-being and level of productivity. This procedure is performed daily by the staff of En+ promotional sites. I also managed to solve a case successfully, demonstrating good management skills”.
Many of the participants attended a career meetup with graduates of INRTU – promising employees of En+. Yana Bogdanova, a 2015 graduate of the School of Power Engineering, talked about her career trajectory. First she worked in an engineering position, now she is managing En+ projects in the field of youth policy.
Sergey Antonov, a 2022 graduate of the School of Power Engineering, presented his success story. During two years of work at Novo-Irkutsk thermal power station, Sergey managed to grow up to the position of a leading engineer of the technical maintenance department.
Ksenia Ilyina, a first-year student of INRTU, shared her impressions of the event:
“At university I study power and electrical engineering. I consider En+ as a key employer, so it was interesting to meet the company's top managers and employees. The En+ Days only strengthened my desire to pursue a career in the energy holding”.
The En+ Days program was complemented by master classes on effective communications, integration of ESG into business processes of industrial companies, as well as other interactives.
