INRTU develops partnership with the Mongolian Association of Teachers of Russian Language and Literature

On September 11, INRTU and the Mongolian Association of Teachers of Russian Language and Literature signed a memorandum of understanding. At the meeting attended by Rector Mikhail Kornyakov, they summarized the results of joint work and discussed the prospects of scientific and educational cooperation.

The Memorandum of Understanding provides joint researches and scientific conferences, academic exchange, cooperation to promote the transformation of technologies developed by INRTU and Association.

The delegation that visited INRTU included the Association's Chairman, Cyrillic Elementary School Principal Tsaveen Magsar, Vice President Sosorbaram Erdenemaam and other members of the Association.

Vice-Rector for International Affairs of INRTU Stepan Bykov noted it was the Rector’s proposal to organize a summer school for Mongolian teachers in 2022 for the first time. The project, which popularizes Russian language and strengthens relations between the countries, was supported by the Mongolian Association of Teachers of Russian Language and Literature. Over the past two years, 56 teachers have improved their qualifications at the summer school.


"We have a lot of plans of joint projects - next January we are waiting for the first group of Russian language students from the Mongolian State University of Education to arrive. We hope that the six-month training will help the students improve their skills in teaching Russian language and literature.

In October, we are going to hold Russian language Olympiads at schools of five cities of Mongolia, as well as to organize workshops for Russian language teachers," said Stepan Bykov.

Vice-President of the Association Sosorbaram Erdenemaam thanked INRTU students for the warm atmosphere and informative program of the summer school:

"You have created excellent environment for our teachers, many of whom have heard Russian speech from native speakers for the first time in 20-25 years of teaching. The teachers' impressions of the summer school at INRTU are only positive, they gained a lot of new knowledge".

Tsewaen Magsar presented Stepan Bykov with gratitude on behalf of the Association for significant personal contribution to the establishment and development of business relations between INRTU and the Mongolian Association of Teachers of Russian Language and Literature.

The parties exchanged memorable gifts. The program of the visit was extended with a trip to Lake Baikal.
