En+ Will Create a VR-Laboratory at INRTU
En+ Group and the management of INRTU signed an agreement to create a VR-lab at the university. Training in conditions of virtual reality will allow students to more easily navigate the day-to-day operations of power facilities. Investments in the project will amount to 12 million rubles.
Simulation of work with real equipment of TPPs and HPPs will improve the quality of students' training due to detailed elaboration of the process during virtual reality training. The VR simulators will be used to work out errors to avoid accidents and minimize the time needed to correct them.
In addition, the VR-lab, which is scheduled to open in February 2025, will provide career guidance to high school students to popularize energy professions.
Natalia Albrecht, Deputy General Director of En+ for HR Management, noted that this is not the first joint project between the energy holding company and the university:
“INRTU is our most important and reliable partner in training and further development of our employees. We hope that we will continue to work together and create a unique environment for education”.
Rector of INRTU Mikhail Korniakov commented on the signing of the document:
“We have signed an agreement with our general partner, En+, on the development of modern educational technologies. INRTU is grateful to the energy holding company, which has been investing resources and working side by side with the university for many years, training personnel and attracting talented students. Our university is doing its best by introducing advanced technologies to make graduates as competitive as possible".
The strategic cooperation between the En+ Group founded by Oleg Deripaska and INRTU is of a long-term nature, and many educational projects of the company are already being implemented on the basis of the university.
