The conference was organized by Anna Kireenko, Director of BI BRICS, and Deputy Director Elena Loktionova. The organizing committee also included Associate Professor Evgeny Usov and Senior Lecturer Klimentiy Batoroev.

At the plenary session, the keynote speech was delivered by honorary guest Nirundon Tapachai, Senior Expert from Kasetsart University (Kingdom of Thailand).

“For BRICS students and invited guests, this event has become a good tradition. It offers a valuable opportunity to present their research in English, exchange experiences, and demonstrate deep knowledge in their fields of study,” said Associate Professor Irina Sharavieva, Head of the Department of Humanities at BI BRICS.

First-year student Ekaterina Laputneva shared her experience presenting the paper “Ethnolinguistics as a Research Field: Origins and Key Concepts”:

“This conference allowed me to learn a lot of useful information related not only to linguistics but also to other sciences. I believe events like this are essential to the educational process, as they help students go beyond traditional learning formats, broaden their horizons, and outline potential directions for future academic development.”

In each section, the jury selected the best research papers. The authors of the top works received winner’s certificates. Experts emphasized that participating in such events helps students develop their creative and academic potential, acquire skills in scientific discussion, and apply the principles of scientific argumentation in practice.
