Diploma Supplement

The Diploma Supplement (Supplement to Degree Certificate) is an official document developed by the European Commission, Council of Europe and UNESCO-CEPES to facilitate mutual recognition of national higher education certificates.

In the context of ever-increasing academic and professional mobility, many young specialists strive to continue their studies at foreign universities or join the staff of international companies. At the initial stage of recruiting and entering educational institutions abroad, the question of recognition of qualifications always arises, since even a high-quality translation of a Russian diploma and application does not provide complete information about the status of the university, the knowledge and skills of the graduate. Case in point, it does not explain that a specialist diploma in the international standard classification of education should be equal to a master's degree. The European Diploma Supplement aims to promote the recognition of graduates' qualifications.

The European Diploma Supplement is free of charge for both Russian and foreign graduates of INRTU. It is written in English, and certified by the signature of the Vice-rector and the official seal of the university.

To draw up the Supplement to the Diploma of the INRTU graduate, you need to send scans of the Diploma (or good quality photos), the Diploma Supplement and an application to the email address yudina.svetlana@ex.istu.edu

Processing time: up to 30 business days from the date of submission of the package of documents at the Center for International Services.
