Finals of the All-Russian Chinese Language Competition "Chinese Language is a Bridge"

Yang Shuwen, a student of International Business Program took part in the Finals of the Contest of worldwide scale.

I take pride in the unique country of China! 

As a foreign student in Russia, I participated in the performance and planning of the Contest for the first time. I led a total of eight students in the school to dance Chinese national dance and promote Chinese culture.

This time the whole world is speaking Chinese, the Chinese bridge in China, the Chinese bridge in the world, more and more people are learning Chinese and grasping Chinese culture, at this moment I feel cultural confidence.

Since its inception, "Chinese Bridge" Chinese Proficiency Competition for World College Students has become an important platform for motivating students all over the world to learn Chinese and understand China, and has built a bridge of soul communication and friendship between young people from China and other countries.

The "Chinese Bridge" Competition provides a stage for college students learning Chinese from all over the world to demonstrate their Chinese language skills and create a platform for mutual learning and exchange, so as to encourage their enthusiasm for learning Chinese and enhance their understanding of Chinese language and culture.

During the game, when the enthusiastic kids came running up to me, they timidly asked, "Sister, can I try on Hanfu?" I was kind of smirked and shocked that they even knew what it was. Can't help but wonder what the world will be like when their generation grows up. What will cultural exchange be like when our generation persists?

I recently heard a quote that moved me, from a French professor who said, "I would not comment on China, because if it were me, I would have no idea how to govern such a big country as Brunei." As the ancients say, "Read ten thousand books and travel ten thousand miles", I want to lead more people to this "bridge" and see the world on the other side, so that arrogance and prejudice can be shattered in the long river of history, and only the situation can be known.
