The students of INRTU are the leaders of the Ski Track of Russia-2023
Students and graduates of INRTU took part in the national race Ski Track of Russia-2023 on February 11.
12,000 Irkutsk residents were attracted by the competition in Molodezhny. Artem Ageenko, an INRTU graduate, won the race. Silver medalist of the tournament was Denis Selyankin who graduated from the university in 2012. The third place went to Dmitry Kolesnikov, a senior student at the School of Economics, Management and Law.
Andrey Vainer-Krotov, the coach of the INRTU cross-country skiing team, noted that "Ski Track of Russia" is a great opportunity for those who want to participate in university and regional competitions.
"The skiers are preparing for the INRTU Spartakiad, which will take place on February 15. The best sportsmen will defend the honor of the university at the regional competitions in March".This traditional winter event brings together fans of outdoor activities and professional athletes since 1982. Participants of the Ski Track of Russia cover distances of 5 km (up to age of 18) and 10 km (over 18 years old).
