INRTU and Chelyabinsk compressor plant intend to work in cooperation on the development of cutting tools

The delegation included the head of the strategic project Digital Industrial Technologies - i.DIT (within the program «Priority 2030») Alexander Makaruk and the head of the research laboratory of high-performance machining technology Andrey Savilov.

Alexander Makaruk noted that the cooperation between INRTU and Chelyabinsk Compressor Plant will solve the issue of cutting tools import substitution for all machine-building enterprises.


«Chelyabinsk Compressor Plant intends to make carbide tools from materials produced by domestic companies.

The high-performance machining laboratory of our university is provided with modern equipment, so we are ready to test tools. It will accelerate their introduction at aircraft construction enterprises», Alexander Makaruk emphasized.


Employees of Chelyabinsk compressor plant will take advanced training courses at INRTU. Within the internship they will study production and application of axial tools from high-speed steel. New technologies will be applied at their workplaces.

INRTU and Chelyabinsk compressor plant also plan to jointly participate in tenders for state subsidies such as Federal Target Program (FTP) and support measures offered by the Ministry of Industry and Trade of the Russian Federation.

In the nearest future Chelyabinsk compressor plant specialists will visit INRTU in order to get acquainted with technological base and research potential of the university.
