About 60 kg of Paper, Plastic and Batteries Were Collected Under the Ecodvor (Ecoyard) Event at INRTU

On October 17, INRTU hosted the traditional Ecodvor action held by the Taiga environmental team. Overall, INRTU students managed to collect about 60 kg of sorted waste to be recycled - plastic, glass, scrap metal, batteries and waste paper.

Daniil Skvortsov, an INRTU master's student, noted that no matter how small the event is, it does pay off.

"Our team strives to turn INRTU into a "green university". There is a mobile collection point for waste paper and other sorted waste. Such projects as Ecodvor might not seem to be very large-scale. And yet these small good deeds help INRTU students develop appropriate consumption-awareness," said Daniil Skvortsov.

In total, within the action they collected about 60 kg of waste: waste paper (32.8 kg), glass (2.4 kg), metal (0.5 kg), plastic (18 kg), batteries (8.3 kg). Everything was handed over to profile organizations of Angarsk, Irkutsk and Novosibirsk.

The Ecodvor environmental action is a monthly event. You can follow the project news in the VK-group.
