Undergraduate, graduate and postgraduate students can apply for short-term programs and student exchange programs during one or two semesters in a partner university. The main requirements are knowledge of English, good academic performance, and a portfolio, which gives advantages in competitive selection. While Studying abroad, the participants develop professional and personal skills

“INRTU has agreements with more than 160 educational and scientific organizations from 23 countries. Popular destinations include China, the Republic of Korea, Indonesia, Mongolia and Vietnam. A few months or a year of living abroad improves foreign language skills, it allows students to immerse themselves in a new culture, broaden their horizons and make friends. Often persons who have visited different countries and studied abroad are quicker to make decisions, are not afraid to take responsibility and take risks. This is valued by employers,” said Nina Berngard.

Egor Zykov, a student of the School of Aircraft Construction, Mechanical Engineering and Transport, a participant of the International summer program of Kangwon National University (Republic of Korea), shared his impressions. Natalia Adushinova (School of High Technologies) compared studying at this university with internship at Changwon National University.

INRTU students major in Design Polina Pimchenko, Julia Pavlova and Ksenia Mikhailova summarized in their presentation the experience of studying at Zhejiang Wanli University (Ningbo, China).

Polina Kushnareva and Egor Zastrozhnev, fourth-year students of the Baikal School of BRICS, told about their time spent at the Beijing Institute of Technology. Egor also shared his opinion about language courses in Harbin Institute of Technology.

“In the morning we practiced Chinese, in the afternoon we studied the local culture. Even if you know English, you may experience difficulties in communicating with the Chinese. That is why I advise you to prepare for your trip in advance,” noted Egor Zastrozhnev.
