Scholarship for study in Vietnam
For the INRTU students, postgraduates and teaching staff! The Ministry of Education and Training of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam presented an opportunity to study in one of the Vietnamese universities for free. Students from INRTU are suggested to participate in a scholarship program for study and language internships in Vietnamese.
About Vietnam
Vietnam is a multinational republic; its culture was formed under the influence of local tribes, neighboring countries and colonizers. As a result, today Vietnam has become a modern country with a developed economy that plays an important role in the Association of Southeast Asian Nations and in the whole world.
The National Center for Natural Sciences and Technologies and the National Center for Social Sciences and Humanities have been established in the country.
Now in Vietnam there are more than 6 thousand doctors and candidates of sciences, 1.27 million graduates of institutes and colleges and 14 thousand people with postgraduate education.
Participation in the Scholarship Program
The candidates have to send 2 sets of scanned documents (see below) on email address of the INRTU International Office: mobility@ex.istu.edu:
1 set — documents for the Ministry of Science and Higher Education of Russia, they are obligatory and must be submitted in Russian:
1. Submission letter signed by the rector or vice-rector.
2. Biographical information of the candidate indicating the surname, first name, patronymic, date of birth, place of birth, data of the Russian internal passport, home address, contact phone number and e-mail, with a photo 3×4 cm.
3. Language Certificate for Vietnamese.
4. Copy of the passport.
5. Consent to the processing of personal data.
2nd set — documents required for the Vietnamese side (in Vietnamese or English):
Applicants shall submit one set of documents in Vietnamese or English language, comprising:
1. Application form (Appendix).
2. Copies and translations of diplomas and academic transcripts duly certified or notarized by competent agencies of the sending country subject to the regulations for each education grade or training level.
3. Health examination certificate granted by a competent health institution of the sending country or by a Vietnamese provincial, municipal or central health institution. The health examination should be done within six months before the application submission date.
4. A valid copy of certificate of Vietnamese language proficiency granted by a competent education institution or an international language proficiency certificate of the language permitted for use in Vietnam for study (if any).
5. Copies of evidence showing financial guarantee for study, research and living in Vietnam.
6. A research outline (for doctorate candidates) or a practical training plan (for practice trainees).
7. Reference letters by two PhD scientists in the same field of research (for doctorate candidates).
8. Valid copies of documents and certificates on aptitude, technical skills, research achievements (if any).
9. A copy of the passport valid for the whole study duration in Vietnam or at least for one year from the date expected to be in Vietnam.
