About 20 teams presented reports, student scientific societies development programs and talked about their current projects
Vladimir Smirnov, Vice-Rector for Academic Affairs, welcomed the students and emphasized the importance of student scientific societies in the university's activities.
“Students who have gone through science school become the most successful graduates, reach heights in their careers. Some of you will work in academia, others will become employees of enterprises. However, it is safe to say that participation in young scientific teams is useful for every student,” notes Vladimir Smirnov.
The participants competed for financial support in the amount of 50, 100, 150 thousand rubles.
The most successful student communities were recognized:

"We will use the financial support to develop the center, purchase equipment and attract new students through advertising campaigns and events. For example, we plan to hold master classes on programming and 3D modeling. We will also organize a series of seminars, during which we will tell how to properly prepare scientific papers, to decently represent the university at international conferences,” explained Dmitry Makletsov, the chairman of the student center.
