Kazakhstan company purchases equipment created by INRTU employee
Automated station for profiling vertical mine shafts "LIS-1", desinged by Semyon Gridnev, Associate Professor of the INRTU Department of Mine Surveying and Geodesy, was purchased by the Scientific and Production Company "AlGeoRhythm" (Karaganda, Republic of Kazakhstan).
AlGeoRhythm specialists became interested in the invention of INRTU colleagues, participating in the work of the XVII World Congress of the International Union of Mine Surveyors.
"AlGeoRhythm" is the leading company in Kazakhstan in the provision of services for subsoil users. It is engaged in the full range of mine surveying, including the profiling of mine shafts. Profiling operations must be carried out at each enterprise once every three years - this is the most important condition for ensuring safety at the mine.
I am currently designing an explosion-proof station by order of some coal and other mines, which experience gas and dust danger. The market for such stations is much wider - we can supply 50 pieces of equipment.
In addition, I believe that our developments, such as an automated system for calculating the volumes of covered warehouses, an automated system for accounting for the volumes of mining dump trucks, and a laser scanning system for underground cavities, have great prospects.” Semyon Gridnev shared his plans.
