INRTU Announced the Results of the Language Creative Competition for International Students

The results of the language creative competition for international students were announced at INRTU. The project participants were students of INRTU, East Siberian Institute of Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russian Federation and Xi'an Shiyou University.

The creative tournament was supervised by Senior Teachers of the Department of Advertising and Journalism Larisa Erbaeva and Anna Baldynova. Students' performances were evaluated by the expert commission consisting of the Head of the Department Iuliia Vairakh, Associate Professors Anastasiia Artamonova and Lidiya Babkinova, Senior Teacher of East Siberian Institute of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia Veronika Zudaeva.

According to Larisa Yerbaeva, the event is held twice a year:

“The competition is aimed to help students adapt to Russian universities and prepare them for the upcoming defenses of their thesis.

Last May, we dedicated the tournament to the Year of the Family, students discussed traditions and relationships between parents and children. This time we did not limit the guys in the choice of topics. The experience shows that students are more interested in this way”.

Zahra Alifah Kamila, a second-year student of the School of Subsurface Resource Management, became the winner of the creative competition. Under the guidance of Larisa Yerbaeva, she prepared a paper on optimizing processes and operations at production facilities.

Hu Jiahao from China, a third-year student of the School of Economics, Management and Law, developed comparative statistics of import tariffs between China and Russia in 2024. Veronika Zudaeva was his supervisor.

Another Chinese student Xia Qianqiu, who studies international business at INRTU, rounded out the top three. In his work he immersed himself in the biography and scientific heritage of the famous scientist Mikhail Vasilyevich Lomonosov. Lidiya Babkinova helped Xia Qianqiu to prepare his paper.

The competition also included presentations on the history of oil as the leading energy resource of the modern economy, the prospects of cooperation between Russia and China in the oil and gas sector, etc.

The best student papers will be published in a volume indexed by RSCI. The winners of the creative tournament will be awarded certificates of honor.
