INRTU and Lenzoloto Signed an Agreement on Cooperation

INRTU and JSC “Lenzoloto” (Bodaybo) signed an agreement on cooperation in the field of training and employment of young specialists, career guidance for schoolchildren, and scientific research and development. The document was signed on September 2 by Rector of INRTU Mikhail Korniakov and General Director of the gold mining company Alexander Tuzenko.

As Mikhail Korniakov noted, Lenzoloto is a strategic partner of the university with a strong interest in highly qualified mining engineers.

“The agreement is aimed at targeted training at the company's request. The management of Lenzoloto will be able to select on a competitive basis a group of students of 1-5 courses to organize corporate training. Employees of INRTU will be involved in solving scientific and production tasks of the company on a wide range of topics”, explained Mikhail Korniakov.

Dmitry Tolokonnikov, representative of JSC “Lenzoloto” commented on the prospects of cooperation with INRTU: 

“The company stands for improving the quality of higher engineering education, striving to bring professionals into the mining industry. We will start working with first-year students. At the same time, Lenzoloto will send employees to INRTU for advanced training.

Speaking about scientific cooperation with the university, we are interested in the development of project documentation. INRTU has a rich positive experience in this field”.


The parties also agreed to establish Lenzoloto’s scholarship for talented students, to conclude target contracts with future specialists and to develop the mentoring institute.
