Student Scientific Society "Applied Geophysics"
The society was founded in 2013 on the basis of the "Integration of geophysical search methods" laboratory. There are modern geophysical hardware complexes with which senior students and young scientists work.

The main activities
- Application of geophysical methods in engineering surveys and prospecting for minerals and groundwater.
- Teaching students to work with software for processing and visualizing the results of field evidence.
- Building 3D models based on geophysical data.
- Field geophysical work, logging operations.
- Assistance in organizing and conducting the annual All-Russian seminar named after G.S. Vakhromeeva on the basis of Chernorud practices and the Bayar camp.
- Participation in the All-Russian scientific technical conference "Geosciences 2019".
