Students acquire competence in logistics management and infrastructure, project activities in transport logistics, knowledge and skills in supply chain management, intermodal transport, passenger transport logistics, etc. Students are trained in Russian and foreign companies, where they are acquainted with advanced technologies of storing, packing, insurance, information service of material flows.
During the studies in this field students are taught how to:
manage the supply of goods and services from producer to final consumer;
develop and implement rational transport and technology delivery schemes based on the principles of logistics;
ensure the implementation of existing technical regulations and standards in the field of transport and logistics;
ensure safety in the transport of passengers and goods;
develop documentation for the establishment of an enterprise quality management system;
analyse the costs and benefits of production units and services;
develop road traffic management projects using Intelligent Transport Systems and Geographic Information Technologies
