Programming and cybersecurity aspects were explored by INRTU students at the FIT-M forum in Moscow

Students of the School of Information Technology and Data Science visited the fourth International Scientific Forum FIT-M. The event was held on December 7-9 at Higher School of Economics (Moscow)

The conference MACSPro'2022, where scientists from Russia, China, Malaysia and Kazakhstan spoke, was a part of the forum program. Speakers reported the results of over 80 scientific researches. Participants continued to get acquainted with projects in IT-sphere at the lecture halls.

A series of master classes from technical managers of international IT companies was united by the Reactor platform. At the hackathon students and young specialists were solving cases.

Vitaly Alexeev, Nikita Zelent, Tatiana Zhazhkova, Maxim Yelizov, Nikolay Bairbiliktuev, Stepan Chernykh and Kristina Damdinova, first-year students of INRTU in the field of informatics and computer engineering, visited the forum. The students went on a trip as part of the "Engineers of Siberia" project. The project is implemented by the Student Scientific Society "Quantum" with a grant of the Ministry of Education and Science in the amount of 3 million rubles.

According to Nikita Zelent, at the forum he learned about the modern information technologies implementation in fundamental and applied research, production management and business processes. INRTU student also gained skills in using data to achieve academic success.

"The most interesting class was on cybersecurity. Vladimir Ulyanov, head of the analytical center of Zecurion, talked about ways to prevent personal data leakage. Ramil Zaineev, general director of ZeBrains, introduced us to types of artificial intelligence. Yaroslav Dynnikov from Picodata played a game on working with servers," said Nikita Zelent about the packed schedule of the forum.

Irkutsk students visited VDNH, Moscow Institute of Physics and Technology, Moscow city, and took a walk on Red Square.
