International Russian-African Interuniversity Forum "Russia – Africa: Vectors of Youth Cooperation"

The Federal Agency for the Commonwealth of Independent States, Compatriots Living Abroad, and International Humanitarian Cooperation (Rossotrudnichestvo), with the participation of Southwest State University (Kursk, Russia), is holding an International Russian-African Interuniversity Forum «Russia — Africa: Vectors of Youth Cooperation».

The purpose of the event is to create conditions for effective communication of the university research community of the Russian Federation with similar communities of countries on the African continent. The event will be able to provide direct bilateral contacts of students, postgraduates, young researchers of the countries involved in the event to develop approaches to the formation and implementation of joint projects in the research and technological fields.

The Forum will be held in the period of November 7–9, 2022 in a hybrid format: the full-time presence of participants at three venues in Algeria, Tanzania and Russia and the connection of representatives of other countries online. Representatives of at least 25 organizations from 10 countries will take part in the Forum. The total number of participants is at least 600 people. The program of the Forum will be published on the website. Official languages of the Forum: Russian, English, Arabic.

The topics of the Forum’s speeches and discussions will be devoted to the role of youth in the development of the modern world, internationalization of education, promising research and development, as well as opportunities for international youth research cooperation.

A collection of Forum materials will be published based on the results of the Forum.

You can submit your suggestion on the topics of the sections, participating organization from different countries and candidates for key speakers during registration.
