Graduates of the School of Aircraft Construction, Mechanical Engineering and Transport at INRTU are welcomed by the leading aviation companies in Russia

The graduation ceremony for the students of the School of Aircraft Construction, Mechanical Engineering and Transport was held on February 8. 13 of the 38 graduates received diploma certificates with honors.

Vice-rector for Academic Affairs Vladimir Smirnov emphasized that the students of INRTU have come a long way to obtain the diploma: 

“You have been mastering serious engineering professions for five and a half years. Congratulations on the completion of this important stage of life. I wish the graduates to develop their professional competencies and maintain their student friendships for many years. Don't forget your university, your mentors and teachers.”

Aleksey Egorov, Head of Airworthiness Maintenance Department of ALROSA Airlines, addressed the graduates of INRTU: 

"We carry out scheduled and charter flights all over Russia and are based at Mirny and Vnukovo airports. Our fleet consists of Boeing 737-800 and Boeing 737-700, modern regional aircraft and specially equipped airplanes for operation in the conditions of Siberia and the Far North. The company pays an allowance to young specialists, guarantees a full social package and career growth."

Graduates of the university demonstrated excellent academic performance, received scholarships from the Government and the President of the Russian Federation, personal scholarships from the Irkutsk Aviation Plant. They became medalists in competitions and contests as a part of creative and sports teams.

24 of the 38 graduates will join the team of the Irkutsk Aviation Plant. Two more people will start their professional path at Arseniev Aviation Company "Progress" (Primorye Territory). INRTU graduates are planning to work at PJSC Il, PJSC "Sukhoi Company", AA Gagarin KnAAZ, and Ulan-Ude Aviation Plant.
