About the program

Mining ecology is a new direction in the educational process of mining engineers, associated with the study of issues, as ecology in its "pure" form, and with the technology of mining in its entirety - from underground and open-pit mining methods to enrichment and mine and underground construction, well mining.The purpose of training is to form knowledge of students about the laws of interaction of nature and mining production, as well as to give sustainable ideas about ways to optimize this interaction.The main purpose of the program is to train new highly qualified personnel with legal, technical, and economic knowledge who will be indispensable in In today's circular economy world to study, analyze and solve complex environmental problems in the mining industry.

Learning outcomes

Mastery of methods of development and operation of systems of engineering and environmental support of works at operational exploration, mining and processing of minerals, construction, operation and liquidation of mining facilities.
Ability to use the main legal acts and normative-methodological support in the field of ecology of mining production, processing of solid minerals, construction, operation and liquidation of mining objects.
